So far, this edition of Monopoly has garnered largely favorable reviews, with many players insisting that just about anyone who enjoys both Monopoly and canine company can derive pleasure from the Dog Lover’s Edition. Exactly how much Monopoly fans will enjoy the new take on the same game also depends, perhaps, on just how much the players in question really love dogs. Whether or not these little changes in theme and motif manage to create more excitement over the game depends, of course, on the individual. As a result, board game enthusiasts get a win-win situation – there are no new rules that they must learn, but they do get to see cute new game pieces and an updated, dog-themed game board.
